Network Projects

Network projects grow out of the specialised exchanges that take place at the Forum Nantesbuch. They delve into issues that arise in the Panels, bring together a variety of skills and develop approaches further – practice-oriented, cooperatively and effectively, for healthy soils and sustainable landscapes.

Panel Study on Soil Perspectives

Metrics & Finance

How will the condition of soils in Germany develop in the future? This survey asks experts for their subjective assessments. The results will be used to identify and contextualise trends and developments that have a significant impact on soil health.

About the project

Nature Cadastre

Metrics & Finance

How can we ensure that nature, as the foundation of life, is given greater economic and political priority? The Nature Cadastre provides a public data infrastructure that systematically records the condition of ecosystems and natural capital services at parcel level and makes this information available to both public and private users.

About the project

Position Paper: Ethics, Law & Sociology

Ethics, Law & Sociology

Unlike other environmental resources such as air, solar energy or water, soil is almost always subject to ownership rights. This can potentially create a conflict between preserving soil as a common good and the pursuit of maximising its productivity as a factor of production. This project explores sociological, legal and ethical perspectives and, based on a multi-perspective reflection, develops forward-looking recommendations for action.

About the project

Panels

Five panels, five fields of action: This is where the network comes together to explore shared questions and develop approaches that continue to evolve through projects, formats, and collaborations.
